The screening serves many purposes: ensuring the candidates clearly understand what the position entails, provides an assessment of their strengths and weaknesses and enables us to understand their key motivators.
When discussing any vacancy to be filled with the client, the goal is to determine not only the skills, knowledge and qualities required to be operational, but to determine what factors ensure success in the position.
The same in depth understanding of the candidate is naturally also needed. When screening and speaking to all applicants, the aim is to determine if the candidate suits the role / the client’s business and to determine if the role suits the candidate. Both in terms of skill set and experience but of equal importance, the individual’s personality and objectives.
